This site is dedicated to the memory of Reg & to celebrate his life.

Reg was born in Hackney on July 01, 1934. He passed away peacefully in the Margaret Centre of Whipps Cross Hospital at 2.30pm on the 9th June 2010. He had been in the Intensive Care Unit (I.C.U.) of Whipps for the previous 6 weeks and we were extremely comforted to see the outstandingly high level of care and consideration he received there. We can never adequately thank the I.C.U’s wonderful staff. After 2 weeks in Intensive Care Dad was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) affecting only 2 in 100,000 people and had the even rarer bulbar form of the disease, affecting only 2 in 10 MND sufferers. Dad was able to live an active life until relatively recently and his passing was peaceful & painless, with Mum, Stephen and I present. His funeral was at The City of London Crematorium on Tuesday 15th June. Thank you to everyone who came to the service and to those who have sent cards. Dad would have been honoured. He is much loved and will always be remembered - Rest in peace Dad.
